Keep Or Remove Jucheck.exe
» My computer is a couple weeks old, I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I got a request to allow Jucheck.exe to run. The request for it to run said that it was in Windows\System 32 and I searched for it and Jucheck.exe showed up in both Program Files and Windows\System 32; both identical, by the looks of them, same size (422kb / 432,128 bytes) , dates, etc. I also found it in C:\Windows\SysWOW64, though it was a different size (377 KB / 386,872 bytes).
The jucheck.exe is the Java update verification process. This process will check on the internet for available updates for the Java software installed on your computer. If updates are available, it will notify you and/or manage the download and install of the updates. You should leave this process running in order to keep your Java up to date.
To remove the jucheck.exe, you can navigate to the Windows "Start" button, click the "Control Panel," and then click "Programs." > Locate the "Java" icon and double-click it to launch the Java Control Panel. > Click the "Update" tab and then click the checkbox next to the "Check for Updates Automatically" option to clear the check mark. > Click "OK" to save your changes. Once the automatic updates feature is disabled, jucheck.exe is also disabled completely. Alternatively, you can click Start (then Run if you have XP), type in "msconfig" (without quotes), and hit Enter. Click the "Startup" tab in the resulting screen, and uncheck Java Auto Updater.
EXE is a file extension for an executable file format. EXE files allow users to launch programs without needing additional software on the user's computer special software. Viruses(Exploit:Win32/CVE-2010-3333.AF) often reside to .exe files, which are then re-named to resemble common software packages. They can be running in the background, infecting or compromising the computer.
In case that an exe file is infected with virus or malware, the safest and quickest approach, without being bothered to reinstall Windows, is to use a professional repair tool. It is for this purpose that DLL Suite is released. DLL Suite allows our users to get rid of the exe virus infection annoyance once for all, just because it has a special feature of Fix EXE Virus. This feature can do away with exe virus infection related problems mentioned above; you simply do as follows:
Click Dashboard menu and > Click Scan DLL Errors button > Click Fix DLL Errors button after the scan. And all the problems directly associated with jucheck.exe file are fixed, because of the built-in feature of Fix EXE Virus in the Dashboard menu.
