How to fix Napinsp.dll Popup Error
» I keep getting an annoying popup over and over saying this for over a week now: C:\Windows\system32\NLAapi.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
Napinsp.dll is "E-mail Naming Shim Provider", part of Windows Operating System. It is usually located in the C:\Windows\system32\ folder, and its usual size is 52,224 bytes.
DLL is short for Dynamic Link Library, containing executable functions or data that can be used by Windows applications. DLL provides one or more particular functions, program accesses the functions by creating either a static or dynamic link to the DLL. A static link remains constant during program execution while a dynamic link is created by the program as needed. DLLs can also contain just data. Most of the DLL files have .dll, or .exe extensions.
The best thing about DLL files is that they can be used across multiple applications at the same time. Windows operating systems come with a few pre-installed DLLs that can be used by any application installed on it. Most of the other DLLs are usually developed to be used by a specific application and are loaded only when you launch that application.
What are the common causes of Windows DLL errors (otherwise called DLL Hell)? Firstly, Windows DLL errors occur when a newly installed application replaces a DLL with an older version. Now, because a DLL is used across various applications, overwriting a new version of DLL file may start causing errors in other applications using this DLL. As a user, choose to retain the newer versions of DLL files on your system.
Next, is infestation by malicious software—especially spyware. To repair this Windows DLL error, run an anti-spyware scan to search for the spyware that might be causing the problem and remove it from the system. Also, keep the definitions of your anti-spyware software (Hit Malware, for example) updated and run regular scans on your system to guard it against malware.
To fix all these dll errors, DLL Suite is designed for you and has been acclaimed by its users across the world ever since it was launched (click its icon to have a clear look of its interface). You can click its Dashboard menu > click Scan DLL Errors button > click Fix DLL Errors button after the scan, any dll error including BSOD and exe virus infection will be repaired automatically.
