Unable To Delete ASCv4ExtMenu_64.dll Without Permission
» The above dll file is on my desktop and I cannot delete it. The error message says I need permission to delete it. I am the computer administrator. How do I get permission to delete it?
Advanced SystemCare 4 is a software program developed by IObit. The most common release is 4.2.0, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when the user boots their PC. Upon being installed, the software adds a Windows Service which is designed to run continuously in the background.
Manually stopping the service has been seen to cause the program to stop function properly. The software adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. A scheduled task is adde to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows Vista (SP2). While about 58% of users of Advanced SystemCare 4 come from the United States, it is also popular in Italy and Spain. The setup package generally installs about 39 files. The installed file AutoUpdate.exe is the auto-update component of the program which is designed to check for software updates and notify and apply them when new versions are discovered.
But this file may be misused by a virus/Trojan(Exploit:Java/CVE-2013-0422), leading to the dll file missing. To fix this problem, you may consider DLL Suite, which is a professional dll error fixer. And it allows free download any missing or corrupt dll file including .sys file and .exe file.
